PTA OPEN POSITIONS - WE NEED YOU!

The PTA needs you to keep our PTA running for the 2023-24 school year! Without a PTA Board we can not have a PTA so we need your help! The PTA help fund and organize so many activities for your kids throughout the year like Culture Night, DEI Events, in school assemblies, fun runs, dances, BINGO and other social events, not to mention supplies and programs for our teachers that support your children every day. 

All Board positions are currently open including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Webmaster! As well as committee chairpersons for Hospitality and Restaurant Night. Please email Marva Booth at mwestptapres@gmail.com for more information!

END OF YEAR BLACKTOP CARNIVAL - JUNE 2ND

Get ready to celebrate the end of another fantastic school year! The PTA is sponsoring an End Of Year Blacktop CARNIVAL on Friday, June 2 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Join us for this fun-filled event that will be full of activities and attractions, including face paint, magic show, music, games, food trucks and more! We are looking for volunteers to help sell concessions, run carnival games, and for setup and clean up. RESTAURANT NIGHT - JUNE 6TH

Our next and final Restaurant Night of the year will be June 6th at Yogi Castle. We hope to see you there! 

 

5TH GRADE POOL PARTY - JUNE 12TH

The 5th grade parents will be hosting a pool party on June 12th from 1pm - 3pm at Forest Hill Swim Club. All 5th graders are invited to attend. This event is for Manor Woods 5th Graders only. It is a non-school or PTA sponsored event. Please fill out the Google link below to let us know if your student will be attending or not. The cost will be $7 per person. DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION TEAM

Dear Manor Woods families, 

 

Thank you so much for all your support in making our Cultural Night a success! We had over 400 families along with 85 volunteers, 50 performers, and 30 staff. It was a wonderful event where we could share and celebrate a variety of cultures through displays, food, and performances. It was heartwarming to see so many of you last night! A special thank you to all the volunteers and performers who worked tirelessly to make it happen. A big kudos to our cultural event committee team, Xin, Jada, and Soyoun!  Also, our fantastic MC, Mr.Lemos and Lili did a wonderful job! We’d like to give special thanks to Mrs. Shin and Mrs. Choi for making it a big success! We appreciate and love you!
