Way to go Mighty Ducks! 

We have reached our first fundraising milestone for the Duck Dash ($5,000!!) and will be celebrating with FUNKY HAIR DAY this Friday, 10.13! Spirit Days will be on the Friday of the week we reach our goal. Let's see if we can have two spirit weeks in a row! The theme for our $10,000 milestone is crazy hat and sock day!

  • Add Participant (link under group standings on the bottom left of the fundraising homepage!)
  • Add student’s first and last name, parent email, homeroom teacher, and t-shirt size

In addition to student fundraising, we are also looking for sponsors who help pay for a Duck Dash t-shirt for all of our students, teachers, and staff. If you or someone you know owns a local business and would like to become a sponsor, please reach out to Allie Panetti at manorwoodsfundraising@gmail.com for more information about this year's Sponsorship Levels.

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the unique voices and experiences of Hispanic/Latino Americans and recognize their history, journeys, and achievements. 

The DEI Parent Team will be hosting our 2nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on October 19th from 6pm-8pm. Parents can scan the QR Code or use this link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4DA8AF29ABF8C34-44470164-mwes#/ to bring a dish to share

PTA Sponsored Trunk or Treat

The MWES PTA is excited to announce that we will be hosting our first Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 27th from 5:15pm - 6:30pm! 
This will be a fun celebration for our students and their siblings! In order for this event to happen, we need participation from our MWES families. Whether you decorate a car trunk or donate candy and trinkets, there are plenty of options for you to support the Trunk or Treat.

Mabel’s Labels

Are you tired of all that new gear ending up in the lost and found?
We are here to help solve that problem! Manor Woods PTA has partnered with Mabel's Labels, the best-known brand of durable labels for families - 20% goes back to the PTA.

The labels are dishwasher (so label those lunch containers) and laundry safe (hoodies and coats!)

Our school is participating in Box Tops, with a fun class competition this Fall! The class with the most Box Tops by December 18, 2023 will win a prize.

Our school receives a check, twice a year, to help pay for whatever we need - equipment, supplies or experiences the kids love!

Harris Teeter

Did you know that our school can earn rewards every time you shop at Harris Teeter?! Link your VIC card to MWES today by asking the cashier to link to your school at checkout using your school’s 4 digit code (1993) or link your VIC card on Harris Teeter's app or website (you will need to be logged into your personal Harris Teeter account). Once you've done that, SHOP for HT brand products, or pick up your prescription through our pharmacy to earn money for your school! Last year, 25 participants earned our school over $450. Let's see if we can double that this year!
