As we move forward into the month of November, this is always a great time to share our appreciation, thanks and gratitude. Reflecting on our many blessings and sharing our gratitude with others can truly make a difference. The staff at Manor Woods works so hard every day to make sure our students and families are happy and successful and we would love your help in recognizing our staff during this month of Thanksgiving. Will you join us in recognizing a staff member? Will you recognize any staff member who is making a difference for your child(ren)?
Please take a moment to recognize a staff member who is making a positive difference. Use this link to SHOUT OUT a MWES staff member: #MWES STAFF SHOUT OUT. We will share the SHOUT OUT with individual staff members as they are received. Thank you for your support in recognizing our amazing staff!
We hope to see many students and families this evening for our PTA sponsored Trunk or Treat starting at 5:15 p.m.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Jennifer Zinn, Assistant Principal
At MWES we strive to ensure that all our students and families feel included. In order to support our school system’s commitment to equity and inclusion for all students, MWES will be following the parameters listed below:
We celebrate Halloween after school hours with the PTA at the Trunk or Treat ~ TONIGHT @ 5:15-6:30 PM.
No Halloween activities will occur during the school day (i.e parades, parties).
Students and staff should not wear Halloween costumes to school.
We appreciate your understanding of the decision to refrain from holding Halloween activities during the school day. Thank you for supporting our efforts to create an inclusive learning environment for all MWES students. Please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Jenkins (kelli_jenkins@hcpss.org) with any questions.
Our lost and found area is getting full. Please take a look at the pictures and if you recognize something, let your child know to retrieve it from the lost and found area or parents/guardians can stop by school to retrieve the item(s). In the meantime, if your child is missing something, tell them to take a look at the lost and found area outside of the cafeteria or on the tables in the front lobby.
We would like to honor all military veterans related to Manor Woods families. If you would like to honor a family member or friend, please complete the following form no later than Friday, November 3rd. We will display these names in our school during Veterans Day in November.
